Kevin Harter

Founder & Team Manager – Developing Racing Champions (DRC)

Kevin Harter brings decades of karting experience and proven leadership to Developing Racing Champions. Since beginning his racing career in the late 1980s, he has competed across Japan, Hawaii, North Carolina, California, and Ohio in both 2-cycle and 4-cycle classes, earning respect for his skill, sportsmanship, and technical expertise.

In 2005, Kevin founded Championship Racing Performance (CRP Racing), a premier Ohio kart shop focused on developing young drivers. His engines and coaching powered kids to national, regional, and local championships while instilling strong fundamentals and sportsmanship. He has also served as Treasurer and President of the Great Lakes Sprint Series and worked as a Technical Inspector at regional events.

A retired U.S. Marine Corps Master Sergeant with 23 years of service, Kevin applies the same discipline, leadership, and commitment he honed in the military to both racing and his professional role as Deputy Commander for DCMA Cleveland. At DRC, Kevin’s mission is clear: use his experience to mentor the next generation of racers, provide families with the best value in the sport, and build champions on and off the track.

Kaden Harter Driver • Coach • Tuner – Developing Racing Champions (DRC)

Kaden Harter has been racing since age five, building a career marked by championships, national recognition, and a passion for helping others succeed in karting. A two-time Great Lakes Sprint Series Regional Champion and the 2012 WKA Sportsman of the Year, he also competed nationally as a Factory Driver for Top Kart U.S.A. His early victories include Kid Kart and Yamaha Sportsman track championships, along with podium finishes at WKA Nationals and the SKUSA Super Nationals.

Beyond his driving success, Kaden is an accomplished coach and tuner. He specializes in mentoring young racers with a focus on safety, racecraft, and sportsmanship, while applying his technical expertise in chassis setup and engine tuning to deliver performance on race day.

A graduate of Cleveland State University (Summa Cum Laude, Business Management), Kaden combines his racing background with leadership and organizational skills to guide DRC’s drivers both on and off the track.
