3-D Racing Components (DRC)

Kevin Harter is the founder of 3-D Racing Components (DRC) and the Team Manager for Borelli Motorsports, bringing decades of hands-on racing experience and proven leadership to the karting community. Since beginning his racing career in the late 1980s, Kevin has competed in Japan, Hawaii, North Carolina, California, and Ohio in both 2-cycle and 4-cycle classes. His deep understanding of kart mechanics, chassis dynamics, and real track-side problem solving directly influences every product designed at DRC.

Every mount, bracket, clip, and accessory created under the DRC name comes from real-world racing needs—tested under competition conditions to ensure durability, fitment, and performance.

Outside of karting, Kevin is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Master Sergeant with 23 years of service. He currently serves as the Deputy Commander and Quality Assurance Group Leader for DCMA Cleveland, leading large technical teams and ensuring the reliability and performance of critical aerospace and defense programs. The discipline, attention to detail, and technical rigor developed throughout his military and civilian careers drive the high standards behind every DRC product.

Today, Kevin’s focus is on delivering smart, reliable, and affordable 3-D printed components that solve real problems for racers—parts engineered by someone who truly understands the sport from every angle.

Kaden Harter has been involved in karting since the age of five, building a résumé that includes regional championships, national-level competition, and recognition as one of the sport’s top young talents. A two-time Great Lakes Sprint Series Champion and the 2012 WKA Sportsman of the Year, Kaden has competed across the country, earning multiple podiums at WKA Nationals and racing at the SKUSA SuperNationals. He has served as a Factory Driver for Top Kart U.S.A. and currently competes as a Team Driver for Borelli Motorsports.

Kaden’s extensive racing background gives him a deep understanding of chassis dynamics, race-day stress on components, and the performance demands of high-level karting. This experience makes him a critical part of DRC’s product development process. He tests every new mount, bracket, clip, and accessory under real racing conditions, providing feedback that ensures each design is strong, functional, and race-ready.

A graduate of Cleveland State University with a Business Management degree (Summa Cum Laude), Kaden brings professional discipline, organizational skills, and technical insight to DRC’s operations. His combination of racing experience and business expertise helps guide product decisions, quality standards, and continuous improvement across the brand.

Kaden’s role is simple: push every product to its limits, refine what matters, and help ensure DRC delivers reliable, track-tested components that racers can trust.
